Edan Alexander was a 19 year old from New Jersey when he was kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, 2025.
Edan is a dual Israeli-American citizen. After growing up in New Jersey, he came to Israel alone (without his parents). He was serving in the Israeli military near the Gaza border when Hamas attacked on October 7, 2023. He was captured from his during the assault, and became one of over 250 hostages taken from southern Israel that day, while over 1,200 others were killed in the attack.
That morning at the base, he was in touch with his mother, but his family was unable to reach him beyond 7am.
First pictures of the now 21 year old Edan show not a healthy young man, but a scarily grey person who has clearly been tortured, starved, deprived of sunlight, and needed help walking.
Somehow this gift to "king" Trump along with gifts from Qatar are supposed to "help" end the war. I see that Hamas is actually capable of releasing hostages in good faith and with no terrorists in exchange. I see that Trump is protecting American interests and possibly screwing Israel in the process. (Surprise. Surprise.) He's gotta make a deal ya know? (Do you feel my sarcasm?)

Gadi Haggai (73) former US resident and Judi Weinstein Haggai American born and Canadian raised. Dual American-Israeli citizens.
The living hostages need to be released...NOW.
The murdered must be returned to their families to mourn.
Edan has a long road ahead of him and we pray that he and has family continue to be supported along the way.
Free the hostages now.
Not to please a false king, but to finally end the war that the world is begging to end.
