Israel made a deal with the devil.
We're trading 1,900+ convicted terrorists for 33 hostages.
Hamas gets 1,900+ terrorists who were arrested and convicted for murder (or attempted murder) of Israeli citizens.
We get 33 hostages, kidnapped from Israel. Hostages who were taken from their beds, their homes, their bases, a festival, or snatched from their mother's arms.
They get back butchers, rapists, assaulters... terrorists who are ruled by jihadist ideals. I read an article that claimed that 83% of those released will return to terrorist activities. Yahya Sinwar being a prominent example.
We get back kidnapped women like Emily Dmari who had two fingers blown off when her dog was murdered in her arms. 🤟🏽 Doron Steinbrecher... snatched from her home. Or Romi Gonen, who was taken from the Nova music festival. Civilian women. Three innocents for 50 terrorists.
Hamas has already begun to regain footing in Gaza. They've been stealing the humanitarian aide and selling it for exorbitant prices. They have been killing Gazans who don't cower to their jihadist ideology.
Today we will learn the names of the next four women to be released tomorrow. We are also supposed to get a status list of the remaining hostages, stating if they're alive, dead, or injured.
So right now, millions of Israelis are awaiting the news of the fate of the Bibas children. Kfir, was just 8 months old when taken. He is now 2 years old. His big brother Ariel was 4, and has turned 5 in captivity. They were literally taken in their mother Shiri's arms, while their father Yarden was taken seperately. Shiri's parents were murdered. An entire family devastated.
Shiri, Ariel, Kfir, and Yarden Bibas.
Say their names.
They were taken from their home, in their pajamas.
What kind of choice is it to abandon these civilians? Humans? Israelis? Babies?
What kind of choice is it to release 1900+ terrorists who will most likely and very quickly return to terrorist activity?
It's a deal with the devil.
We're damned if we do and we're damned if we don't.
But the brief moments of families reuniting with their loved ones...
The hugs. The tears.
Even the families getting bodies of their loved ones back, like Oron Shaul who was murdered in 2014. His body held hostage for more than 10 years. His family finally getting closure.
Then, like a fucked up icing on the cake... a terror attack in Tel Aviv. A man flew in from America as a tourist... Just to murder Jews in Tel Aviv and die a martyr. I mean, let's say it like it is... What the fuck is that?
So we wait and attempt to live despite insurmountable odds and a forced deal with the devil. I mean, what would you do if it was your family in captivity? I'd turn the world upside to try to get them back. Wouldn't you?
