Devastating news of the execution and murder of 6 hostages.
I've followed Jon and Rachel Polin-Goldberg's story as they advocated on the global stage for the release of their son Hersh who was kidnapped on October 7. In fact my last blog was inspired by seeing them speak at the DNC. They are inspirational, have moved, and deeply affected all of Am Yisrael.

I should note that additionally the school year started back today and for the first time in my life... I'm not there. It's killing me as a teacher and as of a parent of a first grader missing the start too. Tomorrow there will be strikes across many sections across the country demanding an end to the suffering and for the hostages to be brought home.
As we approach the month of Elul, the month leading to Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur it's more important than ever to connect, love, bring light and goodness into the world.
The time is now. 🕊️
