Day 200 - April 23, 2024 - Last night was our Passover Seder

Last night we celebrated Passover with our Seder (festive meal commemorating our Exodus from Egypt).

Meanwhile in other parts of Israel...
Hezbollah rained 35 rockets down on the city of Tzefat during the Seder. For those unfamiliar; Tzefat is a city of mystics and Kabbalah. It's a beautiful mountain town in northern Israel.
Elsewhere across America...
The "Free Palestine" antisemitic movement on American university campuses is spreading.
- MIT
- Harvard
- Yale - where a Jewish student was jabbed in the eye yesterday
- UC Berkeley
- USC
- University of Michigan
- Colombia - where an illegal encampment was broken up by the NYPD, and has since restarted.
- as of last night, also... NYU
The rise in global antisemitism is reaching a boiling point and the indoctrinated college/university youth's naivety and ignorance is spreading like wildfire.
It's currently dangerous to be a Jew on American campuses of higher education. The Rabbi from Colombia University sent a letter out to Jewish students telling them to go home as the campus is unsafe for them.
Where will the line be drawn in the sand?
When is enough, enough?
An encampment of over privileged ivy league kids chanting "burn Tel Aviv" or "we are Hamas" is ridiculous in its obvious indoctrination of yuppie youth craving a cause.
At the same time, it's also terrifying to see once again the power and pull of an angry crowd.
How... When... Will it all end?
"The opposite of love is not hate...
It's indifference.
The opposite of art is not ugliness...
It's indifference.
The opposite of faith is not heresey...
It's indifference.
The opposite of life is not death...
It's indifference."
-Elie Wiesel
