Day 160 - March 14, 2024 - School Field Trip to Jerusalem

Today I joined in my school's 5th grade field trip to the in Jerusalem. As we walked to the Rose Garden for our first stop, we walked by signs and pictures of the hostages. From there we could see the Knesset (Israeli parliament) building. On our way to the Science Museum, we walked past Israel's Nation library.

On a personal note, walking past the pictures of the Bibas family: Baby Kfir (1) and his brother Ariel (4), seeing the face of Hirsch Goldberg, Noa Agramni, and 130 others so up close and personal was....
Well there are no words.
Thinking about them and what they must be enduring while we tour around Jerusalem felt enormously privileged as my family is safe.
One cannot fathom the pain these families have felt for 160 long days.
What would you do if someone from your family was taken for 160 long days by a terrorist group?
