Day 67 - December 14, 2023 - 8th Night of Hanukkah

8th night of Hannukah

We finally left Tekoa for a real trip for the first time in ... well a long time. We're spending the weekend away for Nickoma Ceaser's birthday in Tiberias with our good friends.

Breathing the sea air and seeing different scenery is good for our souls.

Tiberias is located on the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). It is one of the 4 holy cities of Israel, and Tiberias is connected to the core element of water. Tzefat is connected to wind, Jerusalem is fire, and Hebron is earth.

In one direction we live near Jerusalem (fire) and in the other, Hebron (earth). Visiting Tiberias (water) is enormously refreshing (and especially in the midst of so much conflict).

May the light of Hanukkah continue to illuminate our lives. Drawing light in and moving darkness out.
