So this week I've learned that ONE innocent Israeli citizens' life is worth THREE Palestinian terrorists lives.
For example, due to the prisoner swap, a terrorist will return to live next door to her victim.
This is one of the hundreds of examples that will come up during this "humanitarian ceasefire" and prisoner swap.
For me.... The math just simply doesn't add up.
The deal feels immensely imbalanced. As such, we understand so much more clearly what the world feels the worth of a Jewish life is.
Yes.
I want our hostages to come home.
Now.
Whole.
Alive.
Every single one of them.
But why is the price we have to pay so imbalanced?
We've already paid with the blood of 1200+ Israeli innocents attacked in and around their homes.
What would you do if your child was held hostage?
Sibling?
Cousin?
Spouse?
Grandparent?
Best friend?
Neighbor?
Take any trade deal offered?
Not negotiate with terrorists at all?
What would you expect (demand) from your government?
I'm thankful for those slated to come home...
but at what price?
