Thank you. We are ok in Tekoa. (As ok as one can be these days.) We have had no sirens here and both our community's private security and the army say they're prepared and feel confident to confront any possible situation in the days ahead (hopefully not longer).
Both my mom and dad live in Tekoa (not together obviously, but nearby). Debra Ayla Neal lives in Jerusalem (about 25 minutes away). None of us are in harm's way.
We do have Israeli cousins on both sides of our family that have been drafted for reservist duty in the Golan and/or operating the Iron Dome.
We do have countless friends and spouses of friends and coworkers that have been drafted and are spread throughout our borders in Israel.
Our prayers are with them. We pray for their strength and safety and ability to wipe Hamas away once and for all. We pray they come back home.
The news here is overwhelming. I have stayed away from TikTok, Telegram, etc because I understand the images being shared there are impossible to digest to say the least.
The bottom line is that Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel. Boots on the ground. Murdering or kidnapping (to murder later) anyone they could find in cold blood. The atrocities they have committed are worse than ISIS beheadings. They are like Nazis killing women, children, and elderly/disabled in the streets and ghettos of Europe.
Pray for Israel, but know that my immediate family is ok.
Pray that we can wipe Hamas off the face of the Earth once and for all.
